 MusiXine, the International Music Film Contest welcomes all films on music, making music and music related phenomena
to compete. In the MusiXine, works are evaluated for their
cinematic merit in the context of music film. The most important
evaluation criteria for a successful work is the film's insightful
treatment of musical topic and artistic achievements.An international
and independent jury of film and music professionals evaluates the
films selected for the MusiXine. The jury selects the best
music film, which will be awarded the MusiXine Main Award, €5,000,
at the MusiXine Awards on easy festival Sunday August 24 starting at 3 p.m. on the Lammassari Island and the Festival Tent. The MusiXine Main award is donated by Oulu Music Video Festival. The MusiXine awarded film is screened once more after the ceremony. MusiXine is an annual part of the Oulu Music Video Festival. For more information on the OMVF, click here.
