Johannes Klein

Formerly working in the field of Computational Linguistics, Johannes Klein (born Romanian) decided in 2005 to make a change in his career and achieved a postgraduate qualification in Music Management. Always interested in music and cinema he also started working for the In-Edit International Music Documentary and Film Festival in Barcelona. Shortly after that he took on the position of International Programming Coordinator. Since then he has been a key player in the success of the festival with satellite festivals in Chile, Argentina, Mexico and Brazil.

Jouko Aaltonen

Jouko Aaltonen (born 1956) graduated as a director from the Master of Arts Program in Film and Television at the University of Art and Design Helsinki in 1984 – and defended his doctoral thesis there at the School of Motion Picture, Television and Production Design in 2006. He is experienced in directing, producing, editing and scriptwriting – and has worked at about 10 feature films, and directed and scripted over 70 video programs. From the early 1990s he has focused on directing documentaries.

Last year Jouko Aaltonen won the Musixine Main Award with his film Punksters and Youngsters. Aaltonen is one of the founders of production company Illume.


Laura Marie Kiralfy

Laura grew up in Northern Gemany as part of the Danish Minority. She studied Media Science at the University of Southern Denmark, where her focus was on new media and documentary films. Among other things she has been working as a volunteer with CPH:DOX and as an editor and producer at European Documentary Network. Currently she is working with Filmkontakt Nord as mananger of Nordisk Forum for Co-Financing of Documentaries during Nordisk Panorama 5 Cities Film Festival. She is also programming for Doc Lounge Copenhagen and organizing Art Out - a cultural networking group for local web developers.
