The Jury of the Finnish Music Video Contest Out

The honorary Jury of the Finnish Music Video Contest is out now. The cornerstone of the Oulu Music Video Festival will be judged by an international jury, led by Jani Kangasniemi, the assisting music manager of Finnish TV and radio channel Voice as the Head of the Jury. Two other jurors are Music Video Commissioner and Creative Consultant Vez (UK) and as a representative of the audience, marketing student Johanna Niemelä, who won the radio channel YleX competition.

The 14th Finnish Music Video Contest features 184 videos divided up into nine contest screenings and six showcase screenings, which will play during the festival week on 5-9 September 2007. The coolest of the gang will be awarded the main prizes: the Golden Pumpeli and the Teen Pumpeli Awards along with honorary mentions. All videos will compete for the audience award, the People's Pumpeli.
