Oulu Music Video Festival & Air Guitar World Championships returns from September back to August. Next Festival will be held during August 20-24, 2008.

Moving back to August makes outdoor events possible. The 13th Air Guitar World Championships Final (Aug 22nd, 2008), will be held in the legendary Kuusisaari rock venue, in an island close to the Oulu City center. Air Guitar World Championships were held at Kuusisaari during years 2001-2004. The suitability to host also film screenings and other festival events outdoors, is currently under evaluation.
