Tremelo Theun became the first air guitar player to win the Dutch title for the second time.

The Dutch finals, held for the 7th time in a row at the Amsterdam temple of rock Paradiso, gained massive attention from the Dutch press. Tremelo Theun showed great showmanship in both the first round, in which he opened the championships with Dragonforces Through the fire and flames as well as the compulsory round, which was dedicated to Michael Jackson with the guitar solo of Beat It.

Tremelo Theun will be representing The Netherlands in Oulu, Finland at the world championships on 21 August. ”I have been there before in 2005, but now my preparation will be better. Last time, the Finnish Customs searched my empty guitar case for 2 hours, not understanding that my air guitar was in there! I aim at a top 3 position”, Tremelo Theun said.
