MusiXine is looking for new music films to compete again on 19-23 August 2009.

MusiXine accepts both documentary and fiction films with music as their main content - ranging from pop to classical. However, MusiXine is not a contest for music videos, and the works will not be evaluated on the basis of their soundtrack or their use of music in the film. Please see the MusiXine rules for more information. 

The 2007 MusiXine winner was the free jazz documentary My Name is Albert Ayler (directed by Kasper Collin, Sweden 2005), in 2008 the jury's favourite was Punksters & Youngsters (dir. Jouko Aaltonen, Finland 2008).
